"Best on the ground" Jordan King Remembering "B.C." (his sister and Jordan)

PRELIMINARY FINAL:

BULLS D BIDYADANGA

What a classic final! In the last quarter Bulls held a 15 point lead but Bidyadanga cut that to 5 points with plenty of time to finish the job. Bulls then had 3 chances to extend their lead to 11 points but 2 set shots went astray and a snap over the shoulder hit the post. Bidyadanga then seized the opportunity and goaled to lead by a point deep in the game. After they were given a 50 metre penalty and a set shot, all seemed lost for the Bulls but it was ‘muffed'. Bulls cleared the ball and rushed it to their forward line where a mark was gobbled up 40 metres out straight in front which resulted in a ‘delirious' goal with 2 minutes left on the clock which they saw out for a memorable win and a place in the Grand Final next week against Cable Beach – should be a ‘cracker'. FINAL SCORE 7.9.51 Bulls to a gallant Bidyadanga 7.4.46
