Mark Parriman made his league debut for Subiaco in May 1996. Parriman at 17 years of age impressed with his speed and clever skills. The rover, who represented Northern Territory at two National Under 17 carnivals played five games of the season in the colts before being promoted to the reserves. In 1996 Mark played in the Under 18 Championships which was the third year in a row.
